Being the Body of Christ - Vitality

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb.

I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made!

I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day" (Psalm 139:13-16).

Every human being was, has been, and will be created in the image of God after His likeness and kind. Every human being was born to fulfill an assignment – a purpose- to BE an answer or solution for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. No one was born by accident or a mistake, even though the means of our birth may not have been planned. The fact that each person was born at a particular time and season was the plan of God, or else that conception would not have taken place. It is God who determines the impregnation of the seed into the egg to form LIFE. God didn't just cause conception to take place, He also created a purpose for that conception.

God has already blessed every human creature with spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm to be released through our relationship with Jesus Christ. God chose every human creature, placing us in Christ Jesus before the world was created. He decreed that we were already holy and blameless before HIM. In God's LOVE, He predestined each of us to leave our presence with Him in the unseen realm and enter this world as a baby. We have each had to learn in wisdom and grace, just as Jesus did, who we truly are in Christ so that we can fulfill our destiny and purpose to do the Father's good pleasure and eternal plan in the earth (Ephesians 1:4-11).

For some people, God chose to release His Divine plan through them imparting the revelation of Christ. For some, He called to carry the good news of the revelation of Christ. For others, He created them to be the recipients of the blessings, and for some He has hardened their heart from the Truth, so that those He chose, He called, and He blessed would go through the birthing pains to release the higher anointing into the world which is His unconditional LOVE.

When we receive a revelation from God it's like a woman that just found out she was pregnant. Her entire life and body will change over a nine-month period. At first, she may question if she is pregnant by searching out signs. When a revelation comes from God about His eternal plan to be impregnated in time, we must be careful not to try to filter the revelation through past doctrines and teachings of the church. God is the same, yet He releases His way new every morning in new seasons, new cultures, and new understanding with the same Scriptures. What a Scripture meant to a generation in the year 1000 AD may mean something totally different today.

If God chose YOU to impart a revelation, He has a purpose for what you have come through in your life journey, where you live, what gender you are, your educational understanding, etc. that He needed for a bigger purpose to impart Kingdom understanding to the world. This does not make people any more special than others, but simply part of His Divine plan as threads in a beautiful tapestry of LIFE.

There is an assignment plan of God that is greater than a message of salvation and deliverance when we release John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." This has been a wonderful touchstone for people to use in evangelical ministries; however, there is much more that Jesus is sharing in this conversation than people to believe in Him when He's talking with Nicodemus.

Paul brings the mystery, the hidden treasure to revelation when He says in Ephesians 1:1-6, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves."

What was the ministry of Jesus Christ? Since God chose us before the foundation of the world, and we were IN Him – IN CHRIST- when Jesus Christ came into the world we came with Him. We were not part of the first Adam, but the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15). Our identity, character, and nature were already created in Christ BEFORE we were conceived in our mother's womb. Our purpose of being born into the world at a certain time was to do the continuation of the Father's business as Jesus did since we are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh.

The ministry of Jesus Christ was to declare that the Kingdom of God – Kingdom of Heaven – was HERE! This was and is today the good news of Jesus Christ. It was not meant to be about idolizing the cross, but to carry your own. The good news was not meant to remove all the negativity in the world, but to overcome the negativity with BEING the LIGHT in the middle of it so that the negativity would simply have no place (Matthew 4:23, 9:35, 11:5, 2 Corinthians 4:4).

The conversation Nicodemus and Jesus are having in John chapter three is that the good news of the Kingdom of God is NOW. If you want to SEE the Kingdom NOW, you must be born again. You were with ME before you were conceived in your mother's womb as spirit, then you were born as flesh. If you try to see the Kingdom of God with your flesh or natural understanding you won't be able to see it. You must be born again to spirit – a rebirth of who you truly are in Christ before you were conceived in your mother's womb.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:3-6).

The priority of Jesus's ministry was to declare that the Kingdom of God was Now, and for those that had been chosen with Him in Spirit before the foundation of the world, to have a spiritual rebirth so they too would SEE the Kingdom of God NOW and continue doing greater works in the world than what Jesus had done.

We have limited our theological awareness of having eternal LIFE as a place we go someday when we leave our natural body because we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. This is a blessing imparted to the world, but there is more to what Jesus was sharing. The unseen realm of the Kingdom of God – Kingdom of Heaven is more powerful in the earth than the kingdom of the world that man has created. If religion can keep Christians to focus on themselves getting to heaven someday, instead of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven into the world, there is a gospel of escapism, but not the good news that Jesus came to bring to the world.

Religion has taken the phrase "eternal life" as a great place with Jesus someday, forever on the other side. "These words spoke Jesus, and lifted his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do" (John 17:1-4).

Jesus does not say that eternal life is a forever place someday to be with Him. He goes on in His prayer to state that those that the Father had given Him were not of the world. We have taught that this was just the disciples, but Paul has shared that it is all those chosen by the Father before the foundation of the world IN HIM (John 17:18-19).

Then Jesus continues in His conversation with the Father that the world would receive those that were In HIM carrying HIS WORD so that ALL would BE ONE, just as the FATHER, the SON, and the SPIRIT are ONE, and we are IN HIM – this is Eternal LIFE (John Chapter 17).

Jesus followed a message to repent which John the Baptist gave, not because of how "bad or a sinner" we were. He was following the message of repentance for us to change our minds, turn around to see the TRUTH that will set us free from the lies the enemy has been telling us.

If the church does not know their mission, it cannot complete its purpose or assignment of why the body of Christ is here today. Our first step is to turn towards God and seek a relationship with Him as Jesus did as our true and only Father. This relationship allows the Holy Spirit to flow through us from the unseen realm of the Kingdom of God into the world so that when the world sees us, they see Christ – the Kingdom of God. From our position after seeking first the Kingdom of God with our heart, mind, soul, and being – we can then LOVE others around us in the world as God loved us first. We have HIS power and authority to do this when we know that we carry the seed of God in our DNA where He placed it in our heart in the beginning (Eccl. 3:11).

In the natural there are realms of being a good and noble person. In the Kingdom of God there is the healing of the nations. The power of LIFE and death begins in our thoughts, then released in our WORD, the WORD of Christ Jesus in us becoming flesh and being the LIGHT of the WORLD.

"As He is, so are you today in this world" (1 John 4:17).
