The Light of God is the Light of the World

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day." Genesis 1:1-5

The word "God" used in these verses is the Hebrew word "Elohim." Throughout the Old Testament God introduces Himself to His people with many names which identify His character, nature, and attributes in one God. The very first name we are given in the Scriptures is this name "Elohim" which is the plural form of El or Eloah, one of the oldest designations for divinity in the world. This name given as an introduction of God to the

Hebrew children originated with the Canaanites when they referred to their pagan gods.

The amazing thing with this is when Moses is given the inspiration to write Genesis by the Holy Spirit he had come out of Egypt as a prince into the wilderness desert to learn a relationship with the one true God. It took forty years of being alone and totally depended on God to grasp the Divine relationship of who God is. Remember, Moses was raised in a culture that his father Pharaoh was the one true god. He didn't need to go through a literal death because the rejection of Pharaoh removing him from his sight and taking his name out of the chronicles was death to Moses.

Moses experienced being born again when he was sent to the wilderness. Not only did he find out the truth of his natural lineage, but that the true God was Spiritual desiring a relationship with him. Moses heard the voice of the living God call him from the death into resurrection LIFE as a forerunner to share and teach to the children of God whom He was from the beginning of time. God gave Moses the wisdom to bridge the gap with the relationships they had heard about from the stories past down through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and his sons. For four hundred years or forty generations the children of God had been locked in slavery by the god of the world they were in.

Most of us can't even go back five or ten generations to try to reclaim our birthright promises. In many countries today there is so much mixture of race and cultures that to try to find a pure bloodline would be a rare thing to even hope for. The mixture of the tribes of Jacob all in bondage and slavery together would have been a great challenge to identify who was from the tribe of: Reuben, Asher, Naphtali, Gad, Judah, Benjamin, Zebulun, Simeon, Levi, Joseph, Issachar, or Dan. What a great surprise they would have learned to find that in the midst of these twelve brothers there was also a sister named Dinah.

God began His introduction to Moses by taking THE NAME the Canaanites were using who were in slavery to their brothers, and unveiling the truth of who He is. The Canaanites originated from Noah's son Ham who had a sexual relation with his father while his father was drunk with wine. When Noah realized what had occurred, he cursed his grandson, the son of Ham, to be a servant to the other brothers - the uncle's of Canaan (Genesis 9).

Thoughts to consider when reading the story of Noah and the flood is that God was cleansing the whole earth from wickedness, and that only Noah was righteous before God. Yet, we find that God introduces another name of Himself to Noah as "Yahweh" or "I AM." This name change becomes a personal relationship. He uses it when addressing that even though He will never flood the earth again, there was still wickedness in man's heart through the imagination from his youth that would be coming from the sons of Noah, and for Noah's sake, God would never again kill every living creature as He had just done. As long as time existed, so would His covenant rainbow (Genesis 8).

God goes back to His identity as "Elohim" with Noah in Genesis 9 as He makes the promise to Noah AND his descendants, AND every living being that is with Noah that came out of the ark. The ark was a type and shadow of a womb pregnant with life floating in water. What was birthed God is taking full responsibility even though He knows there is still sin – evil within the DNA of the LIFE in the earth.

Elohim – God, tells Noah and his descendants that He sets His bow in the cloud, and that when He brings a cloud over the earth that the bow shall be seen IN THE CLOUD. He will remember His covenant as He looks upon the bow as an everlasting covenant between Himself and every living creature of ALL flesh upon the earth. The waters will no longer be floods of destruction.

I know I'm bringing several points to the surface and you're probably wondering how to tie them together, but please stay with me.

Going back to Genesis one we read, God speaks, "Let there be Light" which could also be interpreted as, "Let there be LIFE", "Let there be LOVE," or "Let there be ME." By the breath of God which is inclusive of the many names of God in ONE, we have the WORD LIGHT released over the face of the deep.

What is this face of the deep? The unknown – something that has no form and no identity. We could also say it is darkness or separation from God, or the imagination of the heart of man which God addressed in Genesis 8:21 to Noah. We could also say it is a dark cloud. When we see dark clouds we can discern there is water getting ready to break forth from the clouds.

Now the Spirit of God takes the WORD of God and moves across the face, the unknown, the darkness, the separation from God, or the imagination of man's heart, and there is LIGHT – there is God – there is Love – there is LIFE.

How do we define LIGHT, LOVE, LIFE? How do we put a form on these words when they come from God?

We are instructed in 1 John 1:7 to "Walk in the LIGHT, as He is the LIGHT." When LIGHT is all around us and in us, we see no darkness, no death, no separation or division. We are blinded to any negativity or judgment because the presence of Jesus is in our midst. Paul had this experience on the road to Damascus when he was blinded by a great light from heaven. The men that were with him did not see the LIGHT, but heard the voice. In the LIGHT we have a voice that states, "I am Jesus whom you persecute." Paul's encounter with Jesus was not as a man, or a religious leader, or the sacrificial lamb on the cross. His encounter of experiencing God was a voice that came from a great LIGHT saying I AM JESUS.

Paul was zealous over the Torah – the Old Testament Scriptures. He was passionate in his belief in the God of the Torah abiding by the strictness of the law even to the point of persecuting others that he identified as worshipping another god named Jesus. He had the backing of the highest orders – the high priest in those days to remove all the Christians for blasphemy against God by worshipping Jesus...yet Paul was wrong!

Now here is a key to unlock wisdom: "The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream." (Proverbs 18:4).

The waters that flooded the earth in Genesis came from the earth, not the sky. They were the deep waters of the heart speaking evil and self edification carried by the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. The fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream. These streams of wisdom began in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:10). It was one man named Adam that was both male/female that was in the garden when God said for man NOT to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. This was the ONLY DO NOT that God told man. He could eat from the Tree of Life, but he could also eat from all the other trees.

Key number Two: "But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water." (2 Peter 3:5).

Key number Three: When white light hits a target such as water molecules in the clouds, the light beam is bent to unveil a spectrum of colors that are always displayed in the same order: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, and purple. Light is a frequency of energy. When the light is bent as a rainbow, and the colors are seen, it is still light but seen at a lower frequency with the red being the lowest of the colors. Above the purple we move into higher frequencies that can't be seen, but felt; alpha, beta, and gamma rays of light energy. Below the red frequency are even slower energy levels of light we know as radio and microwave energy. Often times when viewing very strong waterfalls that have sunlight hitting them the midst of the water will bend the sunlight to form a rainbow. This also happens after a storm and the clouds have released a great amount of moisture in the atmosphere. When the sun appears rays are diffused through the water molecules.

Key number four: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin (confusion, mixture, judgment, separation) that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1).

Key number five: "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14).

Key number six: "They shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory" (Luke 21:27).

Are we entering into a repeat of history as many churches take on the zealous of Paul to judge the world in the name of God? Did God give the church the authority to do this?

As I pull all this together I ask for you to search the Scriptures.

For centuries the church, the body of Christ, has been teaching certain doctrines and traditions that are of men and not of God. They have used God's WORD to justify and separate the body that God said was clean and holy, not because of anything mankind can do, but because of what Jesus Christ had already completed. Jesus is returning for a bride that has prepared herself for His coming. She must BE the earthy presentation of Him so that He as the head of Christ can join the body of Christ together as ONE NEW MAN.

The return of Jesus will be the uniting of Christ – Elohim, not the man from Galilee. That man was crucified on the cross. The resurrected Jesus is Christ Jesus who tabernacles in man and with man today. They are the cloud of witnesses that carry the WORD in their innermost being until the time and season is at hand to birth the WORD – Let there BE LIGHT, LOVE, and LIFE.

In the Father's wisdom of knowing the hearts of mankind, for the coming of the LIGHT of God – Christ in us – into the world we would be as a laser beam burning creation up. Instead, Father has kept His covenant with Noah by giving us Jesus to be the WORD – the Torah – in use that circumcised the heart for us to judge ourselves before we point fingers in judgment to the world. He knows that the diversity of His creation must first be showered with blessings of grace, love, and mercy before they can come out of their pit of hell to see the colors of the rainbow above them.

The rainbow is a covenant that YHVH made to man. Let there be LIGHT, LOVE, and LIFE come forth in the many facets and dimensions of the spectrum of color with the LIGHT, within LOVE, and within LIFE.

A childhood song many believers are taught when they were young and teach their children is: Jesus loves the little children of the world. Red, and yellow, black and white; they are ALL precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Jesus never stops loving us just because age wise we should be growing up. There are many believers in Christ that don't know how to walk in the LIGHT as HE IS the LIGHT, but it doesn't change the DNA found in the Father's son. It simply means the Father can't give you the responsibility to do the Father's business in the earth because you'll destroy creation instead of cleanse with the washing of the WORD.

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12).

""You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14).
