Time and Eternity

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven…"
"I know that whatever God does, it endures forever; nothing can be added to it nor anything taken from it. And God does it so that men will (reverently) fear Him (revere and worship Him, knowing that He is). That which is now already has been, and that which is to be already has been; and God seeks that which has passed by (so that history repeats itself)." Ecclesiastes 3: 1, 14-15
The scriptures above were written by one of the wisest man that had ever lived, King Solomon. He prophesied this wisdom before grace came to mankind through Jesus Christ and the people of God were living under the law also known as living under the sun. Words we use today like "grace" and "eternity" were not a part of mankind's life during the reign of King Solomon. Even the action of "forgiving" was a very sacred thing that only a king or those within the tribe of Levi were qualified to do. These words were foreign to the majority of people. Their life was governed by the law and time.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds (a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy), yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end." Ecclesiastes 3:11
God has planted Himself, eternity, within every man's heart and mind. However, man himself cannot find out the purposes and identity of God that is within him until it is revealed by the Holy Spirit. Only God can release this wisdom for the purpose of man's understanding. For King Solomon to declare that everything is beautiful in its time; and that eternity is within man was not comprehendible or possible…until the time of Jesus Christ:
"For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will (because it pleased Him and was His kind intent). (So that we might be) to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, which he lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). (And it is this) In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which he had previously purposed and set forth in Him, (He Planned) for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate then in Christ, (both) things in heaven and things on the earth." Ephesians 1:5-10
Grace is not based on our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It chooses sovereignty. We do not have divine grace by what we chose or what we accept, but because of who He is. God requires the obedience of His faith only that is activated by the Holy Spirit to manifest eternity into time to do away with time. Time only exist when we are subject to the past or the future. Eternity is NOW.
Isaiah 46: 9-10 says, "(Earnestly) remember the former things, (which I did before time) of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is non like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose."
Time does have a purpose. God has set "time" as an exercise to teach us. He has placed it in our mind. He did this in the beginning and it cannot be changed except by Him. He created the end from the beginning.
Most of us live in a memory of the past with imagination of the future unwilling to honor the "NOW." People govern their future based on a past mentality. They live through memory with anticipation of the future based on theirs or someone else's past. We do not "waste time," but waste the moment out of time which is "NOW."
It is the "NOW" that is more precious than time. Reality is only "NOW." Anything else is mixed with imagination and time that is not real. What we think of as "past" is not time but a memory. What we think of as future is not time, but imagination, or a projection of the mind.
Man sees from the past and predicts the future that is never a "NOW" but an illusion. He makes his future on his imagine past. God starts from the end and does not need to wait for time. God ends it and then finishes it.
THIS IS THE POWER OF GRACE THAT IS CONSTANT, AND THE POWER OF ETERNITY WHICH IS ALWAYS PRESENT.
Time has two elements:
Clock Time - a teacher to take us through our sowing and reaping experiences of learning. Clock time trains us. We do not want to refuse this. It is a great source of experience.
Psychological Time - Something which is done in the past, but rather than learning from it, the past becomes our identity through guilt, shame, and self-criticism.
What should have been clock time, or lessons of life, become psychological time linking a sense of false identity with a past mistake. This identity becomes a baseline of how clock time is utilized. It brings an obsession for a need to succeed or arrive to overcome a past failure. There is no peace in psychological time. It has an illusion of a future that does not exist.
THERE IS NO FUTURE IN GOD. GOD IS ONLY NOW.
Time is in your mind. When we depend on our future based on overcoming our past, we are no longer allowing the eternal being that we are to be used in time. Instead, time is using us. We become a victim of our own mind and not living as a Christ Being. "As a man thinks in his heart so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).
We do not want to identify with time that is connected with psychological issues of past or future, but focus on our identity as being a new creature in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any person is in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" Christ in you is our being; God's essence in us is our being. His identity is our Being!
God's plan is finished. Our responsibility is to live in the finished work of Jesus Christ. We cannot be dependent on our past to get direction of where we are to go, but live in His finished work to bring it into our NOW. As a chosen vessel of God, it is not what I am doing NOW, but what my future was already that reality becomes my NOW.
He died, I died; He was resurrected, I was resurrected; He sits at the right hand of the Father, I sit at the right hand of the Father. Our future is the past that God already finished. The end of the world happened. Genesis 1:1 has been renewed and restored by God. We were once in darkness, enslaved in sin. The Spirit of God moved on the face of the earth (us) and said, "Let there be light (me); and there was light (our true identity)."
Time is only a measure from point A to point B. If there is no distance, then there is no time. Time is a teacher, but we are not supposed to live in it. There is no such thing as a future time or past time. Life does not exist in the past or future, but only in the reality when time is NOW.
When we base the value of a life on achievements or material possessions there is no point of arrival. What we are calling life is a process that has not be obtained.
"In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men" (John 1:4). "For (as far as the world is concerned) you have died, and your (new, real) life is hidden with Christ in God."(Colossians 3:3). "(Our determined purpose is) that I may know Him (that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with His Person more strongly and more clearly), and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection (which it exerts over believers), and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed (in spirit into His likeness even) to His death, (in the hope) that If possible I may attain to the (spiritual and moral) resurrection (that lifts me) out from among the dead (even while in the body)." Philippians 3:10-11
In reality, I was in darkness, but NOW I am going back to my original glory. My tomorrow is better than my yesterday. What God has done is done forever. We are going back, and can see the finished already complete in Him. God loses nothing! Everything is restored, renewed, and reconciled for He is ALL and in ALL. The end of the world (eternity) has already happened. We are moving forward and yet away from it for it is the darkness that has the face of God moving over it. "LET THERE BE LIGHT."
We are coming into the reality that we have always had in God. God requires what He has already done for His word cannot return void. You cannot live in a hopeful or better future because you have already been there. It is the guarantee that our future is better than our past since it has already been established in God.
Children do not understand death. Everything is alive to them. They are equal to angels, and they share in the resurrection of God, for they do not know Him as the God of the dead, but of the living. They have this understanding for all men whether in the body or out of it (Luke 20: 36-38). We are not birthed in darkness, but light; and God lights every man that comes into the world. Where there is light there cannot be any darkness. God does not share what is His with anyone or anything.
God will shake heaven (us) to remove anything that is not Him. He causes an invasion in our hearts and minds to remove what is not God. He is not concerned about our destiny for He is eternal. He works with our JOURNEY for us to go from glory to glory. He is more interested in how we run instead of whether we will finish the race because the finish is already complete in Him.
When God brings something to us that we consider "new," we must deprogram our mind to understand it is "new" to us, but was already completed by God. This is where "clock time" is our teacher training the child in us. However, when we allow "psychological time" to become a part of our training, we interfere with the manifestation of what is already finished. Therefore, God does some shaking to remove the identity that is not His in us.
"Whoever tries to preserve his life (Adam identity) will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve and quicken it (eternal life). I tell you, in that night (darkness, ignorance) there will be two men (first Adam and Christ) in one bed (place of rest, one body); one will be taken (first Adam) and the other will be left (Christ). There will be two women (first Adam and Christ) grinding together (functioning in the same body); one will be taken (first Adam) and the other will be left (Christ). Two men (first Adam and Christ) will be in the field (world); one will be taken (first Adam) and the other will be left (Christ)." Luke 17: 33-36
The shaking of God causes trials and tribulations that are necessary for us to go through for purification of His body until only the mind of Jesus Christ is ruling and reigning within us. It is not meant to destroy but force us to grow up from children into sons of God qualified to the Father's business, for as He is, so are we in this world (I John 4:17).
"The Lord is my Shepherd (to feed, guide, and shield me), I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in (fresh, tender) green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters He refreshes and restores my life; He leads me in the paths of righteousness (uprightness and right standing with Him - not for my earning it, but) for His name's sake. Yes, though I walk through the (deep, sunless) valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod (to protect) and Your staff (to guide), they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my(brimming) cup runs over. Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord (and His presence) shall be my dwelling place." Psalm 23
"My children, I walk with you and I am talking to you calling you by MY NAME. I AM the fullness of ALL. Come and share the throne of mercy and grace with ME to BE the manifestation of MY presence in the world. I AM the WORD Christ in you. I dwell in you."
"The WORD became flesh and dwells among men" (John 1:14).
